Welcome back to Redamancy Selects where we go through our favorite places in every Denver Neighborhood.
This week is the hipster capital of the world, where you can’t tell if the man next to you is homeless or a millionaire.
But we do love it, going out in LoHi can be one of the ebay things to do in Denver.
Here is our day trip for LoHi, let us know where we should go next.

We truly don’t believe you can say you live in Denver if you don’t at least make an appearance at an outdoors gear store at some point in your life.
Now can any of us rock climb
But we are from Denver so we have to get the rock climbing aesthetic down. And this is the place to do so while supporting a small business.
That is why it is our first stop for LoHi.
Transplants, you can find all of your winter gear here while supporting a long time local business, and you can pick up what you need to finally start that hobby all your friend back home are asking you about. Whether it is
This is the store to truly getting the Colorado Aesthetic down.
So while we may or may not be able to do a couple of pull ups, we sure as hell look like we can hoist ourselves up a mountain.
This is truly where you can become a Coloradan (Coloradian? Coloradoan?)
3638 Navajo St, Denver, CO 80211, United States
This restaurant slaps harder than Kendall on the bass.
First, 100% employee owned, and in a world where Amazon will fire you if you use the restroom one too many times, we think that deserves to be supported.
Second, the food hits.
While we want to virtue signal about how much we love employee owned businesses, if that food isn’t good we don’t eat at that restaurant again. (Honestly, our Chic-Fil-A habit is something we like to keep on the down low)
But man is the food good
But don’t listen to us, check out some reviews online of it-
Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Menu was versatile, yet intentional. I had the Rockfish Tom Gha, my friend had the NY strip, off the summer menu. We also had the ginger coco fizzes (coconut milk, ginger syrup, sparkling water). All were delicious. Would return to try the cocktails, highly recommend
This place was highly recommended to me and it did not disappoint. Service was incredible, Gigi went above and beyond in making me and other guests feel comfortable. Drinks were on point and the small bites were phenomenal amongst a wide range of menu options. Great vibe to the physical space too!
The flavors are rich, complex, and melt in your mouth delicious.
One of the best dinners out we’ve had in a long time! Their gluten free offerings are incredible and service was stellar.
Don’t pass up the gluten free banana cream pie!
We aren’t culinary experts, just musicians. But this should be on your list of places to check out in LoHi

What is a trip to LoHi without stopping to see the milkman.
If you haven’t been here, go today.
We don’t have to convince you how good this spot is, so instead we are going to share a story of our friend's worst first date here.
It is 2014, Tinder is essentially a brand new invention and our friend set up a first date with a girl he met through Tinder.
It is the end of summer, a small breeze at sunset, it was going to be a perfect place to get to know someone new.
And it is.
But our friend orders a milkshake, trips and proceeds to dump an entire cup of this sweet syrup on this poor girl's new outfit.
Now how would a normal person handle this?
Say sorry, get napkins, help salvage this date in any way possible?
How did our friend handle this?
He starts laughing.
He was so shocked by what just happened, the view of a stranger covered in milkshake, and how quickly he managed to ruin this date that he just started laughing.
So this girl is now covered with milkshakes and is getting laughed at by a stranger that poured it on her.
There wasn’t a second date.
But go check out LIttle Man Ice Cream, despite what happened there it is still one of our friends favorite places and one of ours.
