The 3 Stop Guide To LoDo Denver (2024)

Or how Redamancy likes to Day Drink

Union Station

Look we are a rock band.

And that means from time to time, we need to explore Denver with a healthy amount of alcohal in our system.

Now we aren't experts, but we do know how to have a good time (Just come to a show to find out)

So we put together a guide to day drinking in LoDo.

1. Brunch and a Show at the Denver Milk Market

Denver Milk Market

Begin your LoDo adventure at the renowned Denver Milk Market, a culinary hotspot that's a feast for both the palate and the eyes.

An all local food hall that is quickly becoming a staple of of LoDo.

Lou's Hot and Naked chicken is our personal favorite (Hot chicken is our favorite addiction), but their are plenty of options for people who don't like hot chicken (AKA people with bad taste)

This all-encompassing food hall, nestled in the historic Dairy Block, offers an array of eateries and bars, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely brunch. But what sets Sundays at Milk Market apart is the drag show that transforms the venue.

Bella, might be our singer, but that doesn't mean you won't catch the rest of us singing in the crowd. After a beer (or 3) we then try to find seconds.

The Denver Milk Market has everything from artisanal pizzas to seafood, you'll be entertained by some of Denver's most talented drag performers. It's an experience that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of LoDo.

And we are just getting started.

2. Experience the Thrill at Coors Field

Coors Field

After eating to much hot chicken and having one to many drinks it is time to make our way to Coors Field.

We have to be honest with you, none of us are big baseball fans. We are typical musicians who spent their youths inside playing music all day instead of outside playing sports (We aren't sure if Nirvan has ever seen grass at this point)

But we do love Coors Field

Tickets are cheap, and it is the best place to day drink with a view of the Rockies.

I know we sound like alcoholics at this point, but if we aren't sure if you can go to a baseball game and not have a beer. (We can't think of anything more un-American than that if we are being honest).

The energy here is contagious, and whether you're a baseball aficionado or a newcomer to the sport, you're guaranteed an afternoon of fun and spirited camaraderie.

Once the game is finished we cap our day off with Tequila.

3. Unwind at Ghost Donkey with a Taste of Mezcal

Ghost Donkey

Our day out in Denver we have had a taste of hot chicken, a baseball game, and finally finishing the day off with Mexican food and Mezcal at Ghost Donkey.

Do you really explore Denver if you don't have any Mexican?

We love Mezcal.

If you come to our shows, bring us Mezcal (or whiskey).

We have shot glasses so you can have Mezcal with us at our next event.

Sorry, we got distracted thinking about Mezcal for a moment.

This enchanting mezcal bar, with its cozy ambiance and whimsical décor, specializes in an impressive selection of mezcals and tequilas. Sip on expertly crafted cocktails that showcase the smoky and complex flavors of mezcal, a spirit that's steeped in Mexican tradition.

The intimate setting of Ghost Donkey, combined with its innovative drinks menu, makes it an ideal spot to unwind.

It is also our favorite place to have those deep conversations that only occur after one too many drinks.
